Creation of the World Story - Bible
Send Wishes with Message Magic in Your Language. In the very beginning, before there were any people, animals, trees, or stars, there was God. God created everything!
On the first day, God said, 'Let there be light!' And light appeared. God saw that the light was good. He called the light 'day' and the darkness 'night.' There was evening, and there was morning. That was the first day.
On the second day, God made the sky. He separated the water above from the water below. He called the sky 'heaven.' There was evening, and there was morning. That was the second day.
On the third day, God said, 'Let the water under the sky be gathered into one place. Let dry ground appear.' And it happened! God called the dry ground 'land' and the gathered water 'seas.' Then God said, 'Let the land produce plants, trees, and flowers.' The earth grew grass, beautiful flowers, and fruit trees of every kind. God saw that it was good. There was evening, and there was morning. That was the third day.
On the fourth day, God made the sun to shine during the day. He made the moon and the stars to shine at night. The sun would rule the day, and the moon and stars would rule the night. God saw that it was good. There was evening, and there was morning. That was the fourth day.
On the fifth day, God said, 'Let the water be filled with living creatures. Let birds fly above the earth.' God made huge whales, tiny fish, and every kind of sea creature. He made eagles, sparrows, and every kind of bird. He blessed them and said, 'Have many babies and fill the water and the sky.' God saw that it was good. There was evening, and there was morning. That was the fifth day.
On the sixth day, God said, 'Let the land produce all kinds of animals.' God made lions, elephants, cows, sheep, and every kind of animal that crawls or walks on the ground. God saw that it was good.
Then God said, 'Let us make man in our image, to be like us.' So God took dust from the ground and formed a man. He breathed life into the man's nose. The man became a living person. God named him Adam.
God planted a beautiful garden called Eden. He put Adam there to take care of it. God made beautiful trees grow in the garden. The trees gave delicious fruit. In the middle of the garden, God placed the Tree of Life and the Tree of the Knowledge of Good and Evil.
God said to Adam, 'You may eat fruit from any tree in the garden. But you must not eat fruit from the Tree of the Knowledge of Good and Evil. If you eat from that tree, you will die.'
Then God said, 'It is not good for the man to be alone. I will make a helper who is just right for him.' So God brought all the animals to Adam. Adam gave names to every animal, bird, and creature. But none of them was a helper just right for him.
So God made a deep sleep fall over Adam. While Adam slept, God took one of his ribs. He made a woman from the rib. God brought her to Adam. Adam said, 'This is now bone of my bones and flesh of my flesh. She will be called 'woman' because she was taken out of man.'
God saw everything He had made. It was very good! There was evening, and there was morning. That was the sixth day.
On the seventh day, God finished His work. He rested from all His work. God blessed the seventh day and made it holy. That is why we have a special day to rest and worship God.
God created the whole world in just six days. He made everything with love and care. And the most special part of His creation was people, because He made us in His own image!
