Creation of Adam and Eve Story - Bible
Send Wishes with Message Magic in Your Language. On the sixth day of creation, God said, 'Let us make man in our image, after our likeness. Let them rule over the fish of the sea and the birds of the sky. Let them rule over the livestock and all the creatures that move along the ground.'
So God created mankind in his own image. In the image of God he created them. He created them male and female.
The Lord God took dust from the ground and formed a man. He breathed the breath of life into the man's nose. The man became a living person. God named him Adam.
God planted a beautiful garden in a place called Eden. He put the man he had formed there. The Lord God made all kinds of trees grow out of the ground. They were pleasing to look at and good for food. In the middle of the garden were the Tree of Life and the Tree of the Knowledge of Good and Evil.
A river watered the garden. It flowed from Eden and separated into four other rivers. The name of the first river was Pishon. It winds through the whole land of Havilah, where there is gold. The gold of that land is good. Aromatic resin and onyx are also found there. The name of the second river is Gihon. It winds through the whole land of Cush. The name of the third river is Tigris. It runs along the east side of Ashur. The fourth river is the Euphrates.
The Lord God took the man and put him in the Garden of Eden. He put him there to work the ground and take care of it. The Lord God gave the man a command. He said, 'You are free to eat from any tree in the garden. But you must not eat from the Tree of the Knowledge of Good and Evil. When you eat from it, you will certainly die.'
Then the Lord God said, 'It is not good for the man to be alone. I will make a helper suitable for him.'
The Lord God had formed all the wild animals and all the birds of the sky. He brought them to the man to see what he would name them. Whatever the man called each living creature, that was its name. The man gave names to all the livestock. He named all the birds of the sky and all the wild animals.
But for Adam, no suitable helper was found. So the Lord God caused the man to fall into a deep sleep. While the man was sleeping, the Lord God took one of the man's ribs. Then he closed up the place with flesh. The Lord God made a woman from the rib he had taken out of the man. He brought her to the man.
The man said, 'This is now bone of my bones and flesh of my flesh. She will be called 'woman,' because she was taken out of man.'
That is why a man leaves his father and mother. He is united to his wife, and they become one flesh.
Adam and his wife were both naked. They felt no shame. They lived in perfect happiness with God in the beautiful garden. God had given them everything they needed. They had each other, the beautiful garden, and fellowship with their Creator. God looked at everything he had made. It was very good.
